I Have seen a Toolbar .. Even using it .. It shows up adsense search results http://search.conduit.com/Results.aspx?q=games Thats the URL being displayed when i click search in the toolbar .. Is it not against Adsense terms ? If not can anyone help me how to create a toolbar for IE and Firefox and add adsense code for it . Thank You.
I wouldn't risk it, when you read tos specificaly mention these sort of search toolbars aren't allowed. I looked at it the other day because on ebay you can buy the thing for 25 bucks, the listing will be there for another 1 day (I can't place live link in as yet): http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-6294-2978-0/1?PID=1921189&AID=10381315&SID=TOmostwatchedusa&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D180082502451%09
they are allowed, as long as you don't entice the users to click...its just like any search bar on a website, I've used it before.
As per Terms https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US Site and Ad Behavior Sites showing Google ads should be easy for users to navigate and should not contain excessive pop-ups. AdSense code may not be altered, nor may standard ad behavior be manipulated in any way that is not explicitly permitted by Google. * Sites showing Google ads may not contain pop-ups or pop-unders that interfere with site navigation, change user preferences, or initiate downloads. * Any AdSense code must be pasted directly into webpages without modification. AdSense participants are not allowed to alter any portion of the code or change the behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads. For instance, clicks on Google ads may not result in a new browser window being launched. * A site or third party cannot display our ads, search box, search results, or referral buttons as a result of the actions of any software application such as a toolbar. * No AdSense code may be integrated into a software application. * Webpages containing AdSense code may not be loaded by any software that can trigger pop-ups, redirect users to unwanted websites, modify browser settings, or otherwise interfere with site navigation. It is your responsibility to ensure that no ad network or affiliate uses such methods to direct traffic to pages that contain your AdSense code. * Referral offerings must be made without any obligation or requirement to end users. Publishers may not solicit email addresses from users in conjunction with AdSense referral units.
i see only google ads on the search result pages . i think this not against the google adsense tos . this is %100 legal
But what about This ? * A site or third party cannot display our ads, search box, search results, or referral buttons as a result of the actions of any software application such as a toolbar.
They are using the "Adsense for Search" facility, which any Adsense user can put on their own website. Cryo.
Thats the result i see when i use their toolbar www.conduit.com You will find about their toolbars in it
All their toolbar does is open a results page. I don't see any problem with that. You might be interested in the Agloco Toolbar, which pays you a portion of the revenue generated from those ads.
