Toolbar affiliate programs

Hallo

I have torrent Win32 client with 20k installations daily but I do not have appropriate monetization solution. I can solve this problem by creating my own toolbar and using Google custom search or any other search feed, but I'm quite sure the best way is to use 3rd paty well-tested pay-per-download solution.

All advises are kindly welcome )

I hope that is a joke.The payment is based on certain parameters like toolbar performance,usage,demographics,etc.AFAIK the average toolbar does a few cents at best.

The above being said I still commend Conduit for providing a free platform for marketers to leverage upon.Use it as such and NOT as a money making tool.

 

I use Conduit as my sponsor and it converts well. I have never received any money from them. However I got $0.19 for every install.

Is there anyone who got paid by CONDUIT?

The best thing with Conduit is that it's very very easy to get started. You can also add your own affiliate-links and own partner links to boost the revenue in the toolbar. With alot of installs you can make a huge amount of money. I know many companies that makes more then 100k USD per month only on toolbars (there is even a few ones making +1M USD per month). To find some of them .. well, look at the big download/shareware portals. When you donwload a software form them, you first download a install-file, that file first installs the toolbar, second the software/game/shareware you wanted. All the big portals do this.

You can apply this on any site where you've alot of downloads, for example software, games, docs.. even images.. you just have to be creative ;-)

To see an example of what jonas was talking about you can check out the CCleaner software.In the setup program you will notice there is an option for a Yahoo toolbar download.If I am not mistaken I used to see the Yahoo toolbar in CJ where they were paying a $1 per toolbar install.Do the math and you will find out the kind of money the company is generating.

 

Besides using a pre-download file, are there any other effective marketing strategies for toolbars?

 

Is there any payment proof for CONDUIT? I am using them for over a month and not been paid yet.

I am getting $0.20 per install

 

bundle your software with any pay-per-sale software. drivers sellers, antiviruses etc.
