I saw a website once where you could type in a search term and it would tell you how often the term is searched on search engines, does anyone know what the site is or something similar? I really need it.

    In my experience,
If you are in second position for a search term, You will get about 30% visitors from the total people searched that term in that day.
    Nice tool.

Google Trends gives you a relative graph. Not an actual number, but still very useful. :)

    Richard-

You could also create a google adwords PPC account and set up bids on the keywords in question. In my (limited) experience, this will give you a more accurate picture of how many times keywords are searched.

The downsides are that it isn't free, it takes more time, and still may not be accurate if the keywords aren't relevant to the content on your pages.
