Tool to verify link existence to my website

Okay friends here is the situation:-

One of our client's websites has been hit by Penguin and so we are in the process of removing every unnatural link to our client's site

Many of the websites we send emails for link removal responds and confirms the deletion of link but many don't respond and we end up sending reminders to those sites

Is there a tool where we can feed our website URL (penalized website) and also all the pages where the link exists and the tool can check and report whether our link exists on those pages or not?

    Please let me know

    Thanks

AHREFS.com is your answer, constantly updating database which tracks new/lost links - it's a paid membership based site after 5 free searches per day, though - but as you have a client base that shouldn't be an issue.

Good luck with the link removal requests- you're going to struggle with an awful lot of these to secure removal.

AHREFs is a good tool to find links but to have the links removed is a difficult task - yo may want to use the google disallow tool in webmaster tools to tell google not to count the bad links

use the link data in your clients google webmaster tools account. that is the only link data that matters.

I would look into Google Webmaster for these links, and you can use Scrapebox. Scrapebox allows you to load your website urls and backlinking pages. You can then process these links and find if the links are alive or dead.

Ahrefs is good but won't pick up a lot of links (even if you pay for it). MajesticSEO and scrapebox are both good alternatives.
