Tool to find position in serps, to specific KW serach in the past year?

Hi,

I have tried to find a tool that will show position of a site in google serps, for a specific KW, for different time frames: past year, past month, last 6 months etc.

example for search:
url: homedepot.com
KW: gardening
Time: Nov/07 - May/08

This is to identify the causes of changes made in the links, google dance, penalties and so on.

Any one know of such a tool?

Keyword rank checkers that I know don't show history. AFAIK Google doesn't have an API to access its ranking history - I think you'll just have to track it over time.

You'll just have to do daily checks and keep the results yourself, regardless if their was a service it would have to do the same thing; due to restrictions from querying Google data centers I doubt an "accurate" service like this exists currently.
