    i use searchstatus too... whats great about it, is you can easily turn it off for normal browsing. it gets a little annoying to see the pink backgrounds on all the nofollow links. so, i mostly use the browser with it off, and then turn it on just when doing research.

    The NoDoFollow addon for Firefox is great. Its really easy to use. Just select it from Tools drop down menu when you are on the page you want to check. If links are nofollow then they are highlighted in a pale red colour, if link are dofollow they are hightlighted in a sort of light purple / lilac colour.

    Just be sure to hover mouse over the dofollow link and check bottom left status bar. You will see the URL of the website the link is pointing to. Some sites show dofollow links to internal pages on their website not yours.
