Can anyone recommend a good tool to check for all the links to a website, or a single page? The Google "backwards links" tool just doesn't do it.
Another option is installing BackLinks Master onto your computer: http://www.cleverstat.com/backlinks-software.htm Code (markup): It's freeware
for google backlinks above tool is working well, for over all u can use yahoo explore it is very good even show sig links in forums.
Go to Aaron Wall and download the Backlin Analyzer - tools dot seobook dot com/backlink-analyzer/ (that was the URL, damn, I need to wait 5 days to be able of adding live hyperlinks) it checks also the anchor text of the backlinks. If you operate in a standard niche you´ll find out that even as little as 3 or 4 "right" links with keywords in their anchor taxt will get you to SEs´ top.
Hi Corwin, you may want to try out my Backlink Analyzer that can ouptut how many pages (internal / external) are linking to your page
No one mentioned marketleap. Is linkpop different than backlinks? This is something I'm a little confused with. I have been working hard on link building, and per marketleap, I have 33,000+ yahoo, 3,500 for MSN, 0 for Google (However I have 500+ pages indexed in google). If it's one in the same, than I use marketleap.com.
