    Hi,

Does anyone know of a tool that lets you enter a page's URL and then lets you know how much PR will be passed to a page that is linked to from it?

    Thanks!

I believe you'd need to know the PR formula for that.

    # of outbound links on the page would be something that can effect how much PR is passed. Plus how much PR is passed to the page you are checking would be difficult in itself.

    Good luck though.
But then again PR is not very important.

I don't have a better one but it has changed so much since that was writen. The PR scale has changed over the past two updates it is much harder now.

The scale may have changed, but what evidence have you got that the basic formulation has changed? PR is still passed by hyperlinks -- internal and external -- and the more outbound links on a page the less PR value each one will pass. I don't think that basic formula has changed.

Someone will figure it out but I am afraid by that time, google will apply the trustrank and PR will be a thing of the past.
