Tool Needed for Tracking!

I have a lot of clients who have corporate-run websites that they have no control over. They do advertising on Google & Yahoo but unfortunately they can't see hits to their sites because we don't have access to the coding behind it to install a tracker.

Does anyone know of a way to track through maybe some type of domain forwarding or redirect? All my clients have their own personal domain name they purchase through GoDaddy and have masked/forwarded to their corporate site. I know there must be tools out there that can help them!!

That makes no sense whatsoever... how can a client have a site and have no control over it???

Thats like owning a business and not being able to open the doors...

Anyway you can use www.tracking202.com for any tracking needs via PPC marketing!

No you need access to the on-page code to install some analytics code

Using PPC and Tracking202 you do not need to add any code to a website.

It is retarded - I agree, but there's not much I can do about it! They're mostly insurance agents and their websites are their own page which is tied into their corporate site. Most of them are not allowed to have their own websites because of the company/trademark they represent.

    Example: http://www.amfam.com/agentlocator/myHomePage.do?agent=VGYOSHEV

    Ahh makes 100% sense now....

Tracking202 would be the perfect solution for you... though it will be labor intensive.

Couldn't they build sites that do no mention the corporate affiliation... and redirect to their sales page on the corporate site?

    :)

Not without getting in serious trouble. You don't want to mess with the legal crap when it comes to the insurance industry! They really really don't like people mis-using their logo/brand and they're very strict with the rules on this stuff. It's quite annoying.
