tool for new posts

    is there any way I can recieve an email everytime someone posts in a topic here with the title and other information. is it like rss? I have never used it. please assume i know nothing.

    You can subscribe to the RSS feed of the specific forum you want. Use Google desktop or reader, or another RSS tool if you want it.

    Depending on your email client, you can get RSS feeds in it as well

    You can get daily notification of any post made in particular forum. For that go to the particular forum and in forum tools, there is an option subscribe to this forum. But I don't think there is any tool that can send email depending on the title and description.
