Tool for determining keyword placement in engines?

I'm looking for recommendations on tools for determining a web site's search engine placement for particular keyword sets. I've unsuccessfully tried a couple of demo's, so thought I would post here for recommended software for Windows.

Keyword Examiner also looked interesting, but the trial version crashes on me.

Thanks. Those look like interesting services. I'm looking though more for a stand alone application.

as a starting point, I use Keyword Elite. Works well and is great for ideas and big lists. You can then weed out the crap, and use Gtrends to find a few good winners.

Competition Dominator is good for getting an idea for where your competitors rank and for which keywords.

If you just want to research a niche and want to see how often keywords are being searched for, and how much competition there is, feel free to check out my free tool (and videos).
