Tool for checking where problem exists

    Hi y'all,

I have intermittent problems somewhere between my server and me. I've tried checking my connection with speed tests, traceroutes, etc. Everything seems ok. I've talked with the hosting company, and they assure me everything is fine there.

What can I do other than that? Is there a tool I can get that will determine exactly where the sluggishness is introduced?

    Thanks.

    Rob

Ok, if that's not gonna get an answer, how about where can I check on the state of the internet? There must be some place that says if a section of backbone is having problems (be it graphical or textual). Anybody?
