I had a Myspace Resource website which was getting about 600-700 uniques daily, and i took the website down for about a month and a half. Now i got the site back up again with all its previous content. But I noticed that all the top keywords I had in google are no longer there. I signed up for google webmasters tools and it doesnt give a date that it was indexed but it does say the the sites pages are indexed.

The site is PR3 and now only get about 30 uniques a day... can anyone help me, what should I do to get the website back up to where it was before

    Thanks

Why did you take it down in the first place?

its been about 3 or 4 days I put it back up. And the reason I took it out was to combine the content w/ another site but i realized it was a stupid idea so i brought the site back to the way it was. I'm just confused and don't no where to start to get back on top of Search Engines.

This is the best SEO joke that i have seen

Boy you took the site down for one and a half month, what were you doing with it

I get worried when my site is down for more than half an hour

You have to start all over again, but it is much easier, it is all about the first visit by google, if it does then you gain in serps much faster-you can be back in say depending on the keywords and backlinks you have- in another months time

    All the best

I agree with cashisfilthitakecheck, I have some personal experience for that. I used to have a forum (in Chinese, but I suppose the experience can be applied to English website) and ranked very well for a few keywords. And due to the problem of the co. which provides the server. The site was down for about 2.5 -3 months. And of course the ranking disappeared. But it went back after about a month.

And the lesson I learned is, though it is not related to SEO. Don't trust cheap dedicated server providers unless you know their reputation.

I'm so sorry mate, but this is really funny.
How can you expect to stay in the ranking after losing out a month? Tons of new sites are made each day striving for the same reason.
Afraid your back to square one :(

Just continue adding stuff to it, and hopefully its ranking will be back up soon. You can't jsut take a site off for that long and have everything return to normal a couple days after you get it back up and running

Well it does happen if your site is down for a long time. As your all rankings are gone then from where are you recieving the traffic.

As everyone is saying, if you were doing it right before, you should be ok.

The only things to worry about are new competition or changes in the algo's that may hurt your SEO. IF you weren't using any BH you should be ok.
