Too paranoid?

I've been reading a lot about AdSense in the past couple months and this forum was a big source for information. So I've got a little question. Do little glitches happen with AdSense?

Why I'm asking, I've made another blog, put the AdSense code in, blended it with the site, added some content put a stats thingy in and... I see one unique visitor, myself and I see that I got one click in adsense. Now this was a couple minutes ago, but I'm starting to worry.

I have most definitely not clicked on my own ad. Completly no chance i even keep my mouse pointer way away so nothing happens by accident.

    Am I too paranoid?

no you're just being cautious. keep keeping the mouse away from the ads and you'll be fine. :)

Well, I try to be cautious but I see a click in AdSense which I don't really know where it came from. Yes, one or two links are already out there, someone might have clicked it... hmm... maybe the stats thingy is broken or something...

So you didn't make a channel for your new blog? Tsk tsk. Make a channel for all your sites (in fact, make channels for each site and every ad placement) so you'll know exactly where your clicks are coming from, and from which ad placement.

I don't think all visitors will show up on your stat counter. I believe that some programs like Symantec Internet Security have the ability to block things like that. I may be wrong but that's what I would attribute it to.

I never said anything about any channel. Of course I've got separate channels. What I meant:

    1. New site
    2. New ad
    3. New counter
    4. Ad clicked but 0 visitors besides myself :p

I hope it's the fault of the counter or the visitors system, don't want to get removed for not doing anything wrong.

So no one experienced any minor glitches in AdSense since they applied?

If you think that you are too paranoid.... you could be too paranoid.
If you keep close adsense TOS you will haven´t any problem.
