hi guys i have a question regarding posting your web link to directories and link exhanges etc is there a rule you should stick too? i.e. one link swap/add a day or something? i have heard that google can penalize you if you throwing your link about too much? thanks in advance tony
There have been several discussions on this... People keep saying that if you build links too quickly you will get penalized, That's completely false! That would mean that I could use a software submitter to blast my competitors URL to thousands of directories, social networks, etc and get them banned.... Pleeeease! Build inbound links as fast as you like.
It depends. If you buy links from some big known text link seller and get hundreds or thousands links in one day, google will block you definitely. If you get a couple hundred or more links from different indepent websites in a day, i will not be a problem. This happens when there is any breaking news from your site. People link to you.
If the links are relevant to your website, I don't think there would be a limit. If you started buying links or doing link farms, etc. - that's a different story. Also remember that quality is way more important than quantity.
From what I've been told is that it should seem natural meaning that you shouldn't getting 100s of links a day or else search engines will penalize your site and all that hard work will be doing more harm then good. Pace yourself and do a little bit everyday.
Yea. It happens to my friend website. Google penalize it. Because he make 200 to 300 back links per day. I think it really matters. You have to be careful
You should limit the number of links you build to certain page of your website. You are not going to be penalized for too much links but it will result to a fluctuation of your search engine ranking. Just make an average number of links every day that will suit your site. Moderation is the key! All too much is bad
yeah. link should be in limit. otherwise it should be considered as a spamming effect by google and link should be penalized.
I think if you go with quality back links no limit every back links help full for your site but need to do other activities also regular basis!!!
Yes Google penalize your site whether it would notice that you are generating huge number of links. So good thing is the do work with quality not quantity. and change your meta after few submission.
