Too much information

I have been researching and marketing online for over 8 years. I just spent the last hour browsing this forum and over the last month I have learned nothing. I am making a full time income even though I wake up around 1 o clock and work 6 hours a day. I just can't find any new info on internet marketing and I have decided that the only thing to do is to setup an interactive website for every profitable niche that I have.

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Could you elaborate a little more by what you mean "interactive sites"? As far as new content goes, I definitely agree a lot of the information on marketing forums is re-hashed. I mean, I've been on IM forums for the last 5 years or so and, honestly, there is VERY few new breakthrough marketing ideas.

the basics are marketing its just the methods that will change pop culture and things like that to get people interested and in front of your product.

You tube is a newer one in terms of the last 8 years isn't it?

Maybe your real problem is not too much information but lack of work.

I'm also feeling that we are coming near to an end of a marketing era because now a days for the past few months or maybe a year I haven't seen anything new/revolutionary in the marketing area. All big gurus are rehashing their stuff but presenting in a different format and that's the main reason that people don't feel in the beginning that what they got after paying $2000 was just the same rehashed stuff that they got few months back.

What basically is being done is that gurus are presenting their products in "Hollywood" style to the public, and people just get lost in the "glamor" of the products.

Let me give here a simple example:

Take the case of 30 days challenge. Basically it's just a stripped down version of the "late" underachievers' course/seminar done by ED and Frank Kern.

And now Ed has released the "30 Days Challenge Plus" with a membership fee, when in fact this 30 days challenge plus is just the old/late underachievers course being released with a new name wrapped in a new packing.

Ed and Frank are good at what they do and to be honest, I love their material and have learned a lot from them, and when I put their stuff in to action, I earned a lot too.

But I'm just saying that we don't need to buy everything that comes out. Because when something really revolutionary would come out, we'll all know about it first. But at this time, nothing new is coming out, no new method is coming out, it's just the old material being delivered to us in new packaging.

We need to first take action on what we already have lying on our hard disks.

Conclusion: We all must spend more time expanding our bussiness in other words taking action rather then searching for more n more info :)

Try some new / different forums to get a new perspective on things. There is still a lot of new info out there, finding it is the problem...

Marketing will always continue to change. It absolutely has to for businesses to be successful. You just have to find out which direction it's going and ride the wave. =)
