OK so I will be sticking with my current plan of 25 submissions per day and 5 - 20 yahoo answer answers. When all of you say that the "anchor text should vary" when referring to directories you are referring to the description correct? I have been keeping the title the same but am now using a slightly different description for each set of 25.
Anchor text is the text used to form the actual link. For example, if I'm promoting Marketing, Business and Techology News as my blog, I can vary the anchor text by using Marketing Articles for one tag, or simply Technology News as another tag. When it comes to the directory submissions, it's generally the name of the site that gets linked. So you can vary the name that you are using in a directory submission. The search engines look at the anchor used, and if suddenly you get 200 links all using exactly the same anchor text for the links, this sets of alarms. What are the chances that 200 sites would like to you all within several days and use the exact same anchor text?
