Too many Subdomains hurt seo ?

    Not at all.The point is that they have substancial good content and not spam.

    I too agree with mrmoney. Subdomain are helpful only if you have substantial content to be put in your subdomain that may or may not directly relate to main site.

    For example the place you are at the moment "forums.digitalpoint.com" is a subdomain of main site "digitalpoint" but this forum is a big entity on its own.
