Hey everyone, I recently found the useful pingomatic and http://pingdevice.com/. Here is my question: I have several thousand pages that need indexing on my site. If I index them all at the same time, would I be penalized or sandboxed? Thanks!
I am using http://www.maxblogpress.com/plugins/mpo for such need. It will automatically detect whether we do blog post or just editing. I we edited our post, the plugin will not do pinging You should try it.
Cool ping software... I just use the built in wordpress functionality and have it ping for all my new posts!
Just remember that you should avoid using too much pings for your website, otherwise, your website will be banned for sure.
As far as i know pinging wouldn't affect and make your site sandboxed. Anyway, thanks for sharing the tool. It's awesome.
Pinging gets the site indexed faster, the question is what is too fast. I have been sandboxed for pinging too much so I know it is possible. You should only ping once every 3 days if possible. Also try to limit the indexed page to < 4k a week or google might consider your site a content farm. Good luck.
I think pinging everyday is very bad. It may be a reason for Google to put your site into sandbox because your seem to spam by pinging everyday. I think you should ping once in every week.
