Too many outbound links?

Hello,

I have a question regarding my website at: Free International VOIP Calls Worldwide

My questions is that do i have too many outbound links on my homepage? Is this effecting my link juice, traffic, etc?

Too many outbound links will effect your rank. Try to keep the amount of outbound links to an ABSOLUTE minimum.

 

umm yes you said that as a general comment, im asking about my site. Does it have too many outbound links, yes or no?

how can i fix that, because obviously i need to keep the Top 10

Generally try to control the numbers. You might want to consider linking only to authority sites that brings benefit to your visitors in terms of providing extra information.

 

im linking to my other domain and using it to redirect to my CJ links through PHP. so i got about 10 OB links on my homepage to my domain. So i dont know if this is causing my drop in traffic, maybe

 

As long as the outbound links are on topic, it shouldnt matter how many outgoing links you have on your page. Pages need to be judged based on intrinsic capacity to improve visitor attention and retention. SO what if a page has lot of outgoing links? Oh, may be I am living in utopian world...

 

i have no issues with people clicking, they click just fine. I havent had any issues with users not clicking my links, i just was worried that maybe there were too many OBL but i have over 2400 links IBL according to google webmaster tools, so maybe im just getting worrried for no reason

 

ys u have too many outbound links, u need to minimize that and get more inbound link asap.

So my Q is why are you hosting a money site on blogger in the first place? Your outbounds are effecting your PR sculpting to your internal pages but they don't lower the pagerank of the homepage. the 100 links per page thing is a general guideline and its highly dependent on the pagerank of the page in question.

 

In low PR sites are not consider more then 25 - 30 outbound links. But i think it should maintain for all PR sites, personally i follow this rule for my sites.

 

In my opinion, you shouldn't have any outbound links and if you do make sure they have the NOFOLLOW attribute so you do not pass PR on.

I have read in a few places that giving the likes of Google and other huge important websites a backlink is good too.

I would suggest only linking to a few sites that are relevant to yours. to many can harm your rank

 

I am PR 3. IF you check my links, i link to Sellyourphone.info which is my domain, im using it as a redirect for CJ links. I have about 10 of those and they are all NOFOLLOW. all my links are Nofollow unless it is linking from my patners page or my own site.

I add rel=nofollow to all my links. but most are saying i should not link to to many sites, then how am i going to do that Top 10 list?

 

A quality site shouldn't have more than 10 outbound links to other domains. In fact I agree with

Don't worry about Outbound links. It means that you give (your PR/# of OB links) <- this much importance to those websites. The more outbound links the less importance those sites get. I would like to see where did google post that more than 100 per page is bad for SEO. I am not denying the possibility but would just like to see it.
