    I agree in a want, there basically becoming link farms.

    However I also agree that its not a bad thing as you can get backlinks etc...

    I'm in the middle on it.... but yes I have a directory too! lol

    I think its great how many get released everyday, i have no girlfriend so it fills my time ;)

    If you put time, energy, and money into each directory, then please feel free to have as many as you want... but when you're literally setting up a "default" web directory with a "pre-installed" template, no mods, no changes, everythings free and been seen a million times - then I don't think that's cool. You can do whatever you want in the web dir world but if you have literally 100 dirs on same IP all just copy/pasted that starts to look like spam.

    I don't mind competing against more directories:D But I would also say for every 100 directories only 10 stay actively promoted from what I've seen.
