Too many links in forum ?

Hello, I have a forum - phpbb3 and I installed mod for autolinks. When someone mentions the word I choose it autolinks to the address i gave.
In this way if the words are mentioned a lot my forum will have a lot of links to that site. Is this bad in any way for SERP. I want your opinions and if I think its bad for my ranking I will turn it off.

If the links contain the anchor texts which reflect your main site's name, I don't thing it's going to be a problem.

Google won't give more importance to too many links in a single forum. It will simply ignore them...

It would be bad for your site if you are giving some dofollow links. Otherwise it would not affect your site.

That's probably the biggest reason why you wouldn't want to implement the autolinks.

I am curious how did you come to this conclusion? Do you have some links to support this view?
