Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with google results based on many keywords in a domain name, making it a little longer than normal. Does google look down upon these types of domains. I only ask because I came across a niche which has several high volume keywords that I can string together into a domain that is available, and the domain would still make sense when read. Would this benefit or harm my possible site's results in google search? Anyones input would be appreciated, thanks.
There is likely a limit to how long a domain name Google will accept. Over a certain length could trigger some type of penalty. Really the only people who need such a long domain is spammers. How long is the domain name you are considering? One thing you should definitely avoid is using too many dashes. A lot of spammers buy domains with 3 - 4 dashes to separate the keywords. Now those types of domains have lost their value.
No that should be fine. I have one domain that is 25 characters long, one that is 22 and one that is 23. They are thin affiliate sites that don't get much Google love though. One of them did get some good Google rankings a few months ago. In time you may regret having such a long domain name. I cringe when I have to type out any of my longer domain names.
