I have had my AdWords account for a while now. I have about 70 deleted campaigns (different websites, trying new things, etc.). I didn't even realize that I have had that many deleted camp-s. The other day I read that it goes against a person's AdWords account if there are too many deleted camp-s. Is it true? In what way does it go against the account?
Where did you read this? I've never heard of it. I also have many deleted campaigns. When your a member for years they add up. I wouldn't worry about it unless you read it from the adwords website, as it doesn't make sense.
Is it a good idea to pause and or delete old ads and keywords inside deleted campaigns? I figured it would look cleaner, especially if your first campaigns are messy.
Yeah its a good idea to delete old as and campaign , it will make easier to manage your ppc campaign.
Other than making it easier to manage, I don't think it matters. I've read other "gurus" saying it's NOT a problem having old deleted campaigns in your account.
Oh come on where did you get it? It's not true. What I like in Google Adwords it is when you may activate deleted campaigns again.
Yes, I haven't heard any issues regarding deleted campaigns. Since in Adwords, you can re-activate deleted campaigns...
