    Hi all,

    After some opinions here.

Just started a new forum about 2 weeks ago now and was wondering if you think I have too many categories for such a new forum?

It is a general forum so there is a few categories.

    The URL: www.im-here.co.uk

Not very many signed up yet or talking but for 2 weeks running you can see why, haha

Thanks all for your advice and opinions

Make sure each forum has at least 5 threads, if they don't than I'd suggest merging them until more space is needed..

Yeah the colour was a slight concern of mine although I liked the dark colours. I might change it soon though to light colour before I have too many people signed up to it. Less people to disturb.

12 to 18 sections is enough if you do no have a lot of post the more sections you have will make your forum look even more dead. I hate seeing forums with 25 or more sections I would be ok with seeing like 12 secs & like 20 sub sections than seeing 25 sections

I actually like the colours used. But I do think the forum is too general; it doesn't seem to target any particular group of people, except perhaps UK residents.

Section count is fine but I'll be honest and say that your forum has no appeal as a General Discussion Forum.
