Hi guys, I was working on my adwords account this week and tried to minimize my budget as much as possible. I decided to make a separate campaign, 1 for each state in the USA. I finally finished making all the campaigns, the keywords that I want to advertise in each campaign and the ads.... I go to turn on all 50 campaigns, and it stops me at 25 saying I have too many campaigns in my account... What do I do so that I can advertise one campaign in each of the 50 states???? Please someone help me out!!! Thanks, Clucks2772
You can email AdWords support with the same question. If your account is in good standing and they find it necessary to increase the allowed amount of campaigns, they will. I heard some pros did that. But, yeah, 25 is the limit.
I have had this account since January of this year and have been doing about $2000 a day since then.... I have made my payments on time.. think that would be good enough for them to change my limit??
Of course. Just explain your situation in details and that you would really, really appreciate at least 25 more campaigns since you can't cover all 50 states. Good luck!
hi Clucks2772, You can have up to 100 campaigns, but for starters, the limit is 25. So there is a good chance Google will give you a higher limit based on your situation. But most importantly, What you are doing maybe not be the best way to optimize your account and campaigns because generally speaking, it is better to use your given limit to create highly optimized campaigns targeting different segments of your market instead of creating one campaign for each state. With that said, here is what I recommend you to consider: 1, Use just one campaign so you can use rest of the limit to create more campaigns targeting different segments for better optimization. 2, Use Google Analytics and set up Advanced segments that matches Exactly each state and even cities. 3, Set up Analytics goals so you can track with states give your better ROI on your money.
