You don´t need to be a part of a movement to do something, as an individual you can stop and think about consequences and speak against it instead of just applauding and cheering the government line which is feed to you by media. There as been many unpleasant development in the last few years which many naive Americans cheering for without understanding that is putting their liberty and security in danger.
When Americans cheer putting people in prison and torturing them, instead explain for them that this is wrong and instead of thinking oh, they are just terrorists, ask them what do they think if it happens to them or member of their family. When they kill people without trials, ask them what happens when they start doing it to Americans which they have already done. When civilians are killed and is called collateral damage, ask them if it is acceptable when they try to kill someone in NY or LA and their father, mother, sister,... is killed as collateral damage.
When people beat theire chest, cheer and start talking about drones or computer viruses and use of these things against countries that USA is not in war with , ask them how they feel if another country use the same things and cause a catastrophe in USA.
Being part of mob and cheering government line doesn´t require any courage, being an individual thinker that speaks up against the mob mentality requires a lot of courage.

 

Its not funny for the US because they fear that Iran will sell it to Russia and China who will hack this technology.

 

I believe Iran did a pretty darn good. They got themselves a drone. If they can land it without physical access, think what they can do now.

2: Many people have been tortured, with American-backed (and often paid-for) troops.
3: Ask any copper that shot someone dead if he gave them a trial first though the statement also befits a number of higher profile murders and the hundreds of thousands of US led war dead put down to "collateral damage".

Without assuming I am answering for gworld I can think of a number of circumstances, apart from those I mentioned, that totally agrees with gworld's suppositions, though, like gworld I think you're too blinded to see, and his answer, just like mine, would be useless as far as you're concerned. 1. You are going to have to show me an example. To my knowledge, I never "cheered" about putting someone in prison.

3. The first is a shooting in the line of duty when the police officer is threatened. If the shooting is not justified, the officer is punished.
The second is an act of war. Although, you COULD have referenced the thousands of innocents that lost their lives on 9/11, and the many thousands killed by Saddam Hussein, Al-Quaida, and other terrorists.
