I was very excited to see that I just published my post for today and based on the title of the post.....it immediately appeared as the 1st item in the google search. Now, I am sure this is a good thing.....as long as someone types in the exact search I did.....so I guess I am learning that the Title of a post really can make a big difference for SEO. Anybody else have some input on this?
I have an internet tv blog that gets similar results.... But only for certain keyphrases. For example if i review a new internet tv product i end up at the top of google for that search term. But try it with a competative phrase and it doesnt always work so well. As an example. A post i did yesterday is number 1 on google for search term 'Internet TV battle. China beating the West' which is great but noone is gonna search for that however type in 'Internet TV China' and im still on page 1 for the same post Type in 'Watch movies on your Mobile' and you get a post i made a couple of days back. Its a very powerful feature of blogs and its great to know you can get to the top of google just by posting..
It's a good thing that Google indexed you very fast. And we have no idea what your site or keyword is so we can't tell you whether its good or not!
Nice I am assuming its not a very competitive phrase So any pointers to share with the community, what do you think, what made it to the top so fast ?
Google loves ranking blogs high because of the updated content and the outbound links pointing away and the inbound pointing in.
I have written a subtitle (H3 tagged) in a blog post yesterday, and it's 5th in Google today. I've used the keyword phrase from Yahoo suggestion. Several other subtitles rank around 20 in Google, but nowhere in Yahoo.
