Today was one of those days that

Make my wife and I feel a bit older.
Because today was our oldest granddaughter's birthday...her 17th!!!!
Of course, we gave her a nice check.
And wife made her favorite cake.
She told wife, when she saw the check "grandpa really spoils me"
Of course, grandson wanted to know how much, but she smartly put the check back in the card and would not let him see it or know how much.
Would hate to set a precedence!!!

Yep, what my wife does not take from the check, goes to one of the grankids (birthdays pretty well spread out over the year).
