Today was a terrible day with Adsense earnings

Today (July 28, 2006) was the worst day so far in my adsense earnings. I earned less than half what I make a day.

What's wrong with adsense today? There was an adwords outage today but Google said that it would only affect people accessing their adwords accounts and it would not affect ads running.

Has anyone else seen a decline in earnings today?

Anyways, how was your traffic? same? Do you usually make the same amount every day and today was halfed, or did you have an exceptional day yesterday and it just flattened out today?

 

Except that your Adsense earnings will go up and down daily. That's just life with Adsense.

 

I think the best analysis of your adsense earnings you can make is on a monthly basis. Worrying about daily stats will do no good when it is best to think about expanding adding new content to your site. The key is to improve earning from month to month. There will be lots of daily flactuations.

 

I have the same strange problem. I was getting $2 to $4 from my site a day for the last month, with a steady amount of traffic. My daily traffic has remained the same, but since yesterday, adsense has earned nothing.

 

I think it is normal to see this kind of changes. Yu can expect to earn same amount everyday.

 

i havent notice any changes, ny earning is just about the same as usual

My earnings was above my $2 average ^^;; So no problems here.

If your ads are woring and you've not been earning anything in a while, maybe you just need to improve your content and increase vistiors ^^;;

 

yeah, it's kinda complicated. Specially to a newbie like me. Not the "improving" stuff but the "increase traffic" stuff....
I submit to directories, search engines, and a whole lot more, but it seems it's not good enough. I might search for some niche topics to exploit...:s

 

About 17% of my traffic comes from digg.com, maybe you could submit some articles that lead to your website there ^^;; </off topic>

Steady as she goes, but trending downward due, I believe, to Adwords bids trending downward.

And are dropping day a day, but yesterday was the worst.
