    I totally agree.

    The likes of GoDaddy and other similar companies registering hundreds of thousands of domain names weekly just to get revenue from any possible traffic with the most terrible landing pages is hopefully over.

    Sure, the knock on effect to us small guys is there but what's the big deal? It just means thinking a little more carefully in the future before registering a new .com name.

    Also this as many domainers know has been on the books for a long time, now that the change has come into effect - it bodes well for the future and will be hopefully a much fairer system for the future.

    Good on ICANN!

    It is a good move in the right direction. Hats off to ICANN for the bold step taken; the work is commendable although came a little bit late :)
