Today i lost page rank 3 to 0 (weird)

It is a penalty. A website can be penalized any time that Google wishes too.

 

Your site seems to be the odd one out.... with most of the people having seen downgrading of their PR in recent Google mess up. Things just do not seem to stabilize at google these days...

i doubt its penalized because this website is not big and nothing is pulling people to hate or anything related to high popularity or unpopularity. So i doubt its penalizing because thats waste of gogoles times. And i doubt they have time to waste on penalizing websites that are not so important in global.

P.S. Kan2 is pretty new directory i had domain with pr3 so maybe that was reason of pr lost since i parked that domain and now i have made directory.

 

weird i got my pr back. Why i got it back only god knows. Im talking about Cyber God whos first letter is also G,lol

 

It's possible that the domain lost PR because it was a dropped domain but I doubt it. Because, there isn't a PR update going on at the moment. More likely the PR from the toolbar was removed due to the link exchanges. It's likely that the penalty was done algorithmically and is solvable but adding some non recips both inbound and outbound.

Googe considers excessiv reciprocal linking a link scheme. You should balance your link profile.

 

I think bogart is correct, reciprocal linking and low or zero pr has been happening to alot of sites

 

Strange it happened to me to before the update on the year end I was pr3 after the update I went to 2 and now I checked it, it went to 1. That's so not nice! I wonder why.

 

This clearly shows something messy is going on at Google....People are losing PR and getting it back at the drop of a hat.....Wonder how long this drama of uncertainty going to carry on?

You know whats even weirder?
Few of my websites pages are getting pr 6/10 and this pages are not even allowed to be crawlled since they are my admin panel pages... thats mega weird and i think somethings going on.

Also on my website doemstic i have pr 5/10 on adding stuff form page.

Page rank has not meant anything to SERPs for a long time now. Forget about PR and work on developing your site.

 

On the flip side that pr may have been removed from the toolbar but no penalty placed on your site.

 

Yes I experienced the same thing on many websites of mine.

 

I think your PR was removed because your site is a directory, Google have been removing PR from directory for a why now.

 

The OP's site is PR3 again. It doesnot seem to be a penalty or anything. I lost PR on some sites but they all reverted back.

 

well if its full of reciprocal links then thats the problem

reciprocal links are useless, its ok to have a handful, but once you start linking to anyone who links back to you then you asking for trouble

Reciprocal links are not seen as a genuine vote

 

I wouldn't worry about it, the links you have might have been penalized, there are a number of reason for this to happen.

 

I see PR3 for the site in toolbar...
