When I opened my email a/c, I saw a mail from paypal having a notification that paypal is limiting my account due to some third party login !
I quicky opened my paypal a/c and there was no limitation, no case in resolution center.
The mail I got had a greeting on my name the CASE ID WAS BLANK.
What was that thrilling stuff ? How that mail came even when my paypal is not limited.
    I have a verified premier paypal a/c.
    Can anyone guess ?

The person who send you this e-mail might have done a business with you earlier and he must have received your full name from the payment notification e-mail!

I wonder how and why he send you this limitation e-mail....though!

As I am Pro Hacker myself .. let me tell you hows it is done .. well not gonna tell you the proper way :p

    1. Get Victims Info (website, msn or something like that .. they contain your full info as "whois" of your domain and "profile" of your MSN)

    2. Target victim (You may get some spam mails from nowhere everyday.. this spam mails actually are for monetizing your Email account.. if you open them .. they get your info .. if you leave them in trash ..they still can.. Always delete them permanently)

    3. Fake Mail Server (to send you mail as )

    4. Its easy to check your email connection with paypal ..

    5. Mail contains phishing link in "Click Here to Login" or something like that .. which first leads you to attackers site which make instant changes and get access to your "windows/system32 host file" (i am not gonna tell which file but that the file which manages your Address link bars in Internet Browser)

What the instant change do is that it forward you to attackers clone site of paypal and you see thats its paypal site .. even the link in your address will show www.paypal.com/*.* .. BUT it is not!

You login .. attacker got your ID and pass!!

If in this case.. have you clicked the link in your email .. I suggest you to remove your Cache and temp file and re change your pass.

I did not mention any Antivirus because there is nothing they can do ;)

In my opinion one must not save his/her paypal password anywhere in the computer. If you are using any software like Outlook then you can easily get hacked. If there is any password reset mail from Paypal then also it can be stolen easily. I recommend using a special mail account for Paypal. I wonder why Paypal is not providing an email to their clients (atleast verified clients).

The motive is clearly understandable if what you say had been the case....but here, OP has clearly stated that the e-mail did not contain any clickable link!

If you followed their link to login in your PayPal, your account information might be in wrong hands, best to do is to change your password and never follow any links from email to log on your PayPal account, simply type the paypal.com in your browser.

yeah, This is the correct instruction when we get those kind of emails.
So every time check your paypal account, not in the email account.

Ya it didn't have any link but I get around 10 spam mails daily in my gmail a/c and don't know how to stop them. They all are offers and money spams.
My spam has 213 spam mails and thrash has 440 spams.
Its boring to delete them really.
