I tried an images only rectangle ad for the first time ever on one of my most popular sites, and it managed to generate $1.91 without any clicks. Could someone enlighten me as to how this occured? Thanks for your time.
There are 2 ways for explaining this: 1st : your adsense stats aren't updated (number of click) 2nd : someone advertise on your site with CPM (wich i doubt because $1.91 is a lot for CPM ads)
Well he didn't say he had exactly 1000 visits, it could be $0.60 CPM ads and he got like 3200 visits.
I run both text ads and image ads when they have them for some of my sites. I do get some money off them. I will try running more on sites that get less per click than i like and compare the 2. I think most people pay per click and you might wind up with alot of non paying ads from google.
that's image ad so he might get more visits.....so on CPM basis he may get that.......high quality website....it's possible,,,,,,
yes , the rectangles are known to produce more revenue , even on their site they say the rectangle , the 336 by 280 is known to produce more revenue
