I have been a long time user of Adsense and now finally going to pursue many other advertising methods because today and this has been the trend in past months but it is getting worse. Today was the final nail in the coffin. 45 clicks so far today and made $1.26 If this were 3 years ago I would have made around $10 for the 45 clicks. Now when you look at the website growing or even just other people who are in the same niche with large websites this is a large amount of money that is being lost. Is there a way to correct this, I have already done my best to block out any MFA's and so on.
the niche is music and entertainment with a few city keywords mixed in. I checked and each click was actually valid and at around 1 to 5 cents a click
that's too low, i get those figures with knotera most of the time! I suggest you to remove your adsense codes for a few days, and get them back after say 3 to 5 days. that helps at times!
If your site is big enough. Sell ad spots, text links. Many people are willing to pay what AdSense would pay you.

Keep in mind, 45 clicks can change GREATLY based on the following things: Ratio of clicks to views (1000 views and 1 click is worth more than 100 views and 10 clicks) IP address (a person going back to the same link for reference, or whatever. 1 click per ip per ad unit) Value of the ad based on its stream (a page view is worth more to a blogger than a product seller, for instance) blahblahblahblah, the list goes on. It comes down tot hte fact that today those 45 clicks can be worth $10 as well
