    Hello to all mates,

I have a blog in blogspot with 2 PR. now i think i have to upgrade this domain.
My question is if i am upgrading the blog domain what happens with my backlinks?

Mostly people suggesting to create 301 redirect page but how can i do? Because i don't have FTP or any other details to create 301.

Another thing is if i am gonna upgrade than...what will happen with my content and design?

Not sure what you mean with "upgrading". To my knowledge, blogspot does not have a premium account or something to which you can "upgrade". In any case, the PR2 is associated to your current blogspot subdomain (e.g., "myblog.blogspot.com"). Unless you change the domain name, you will maintain the PR (unless you start for example linking to bad neighborhoods).

If what you intend is buy a domain name and create your blog from scratch, then you have a problem, because then you would change the domain name and start basically from PR0.... You would have to export all posts to the new blog (remember then to delete the old ones, so to void duplicate content).

Redirecting links to the main blog would be simple enough by posting an HTML redirect instruction (look up in Google how that works). BUT you would lose all the deep links to the different posts unless you manually redirect every single old post to the new one. A lot of work. AND at a certain moment blogspot could potentially simply cancel your account, I do not know whether such redirect code is within their rules and terms of use.

That is the problem with using a free public platform such as blogspot, that you can't simply move all the stuff whenever you want... because you do not control what is underneath. That's the reason that my really important sites are privately hosted... and because I have many, I bought a reseller account instead of many individual ones.
