    Hello friends,

As windows 7 has launched so most of us are trying to upgrade it.
But doing this many of us want to know what improvement we will see in
performance, specifically in boot time and speed * like to know stability of
    this system etc.

you can try to win 7, but you can also wait for first after support for the win 7 had very much. I also want to try, but not now maybe after the win 7 already familiar...:D

but u cant try to upgrade if u want..

Give us review after that dude...:D

I'm going to wait for Microsoft to work out any bugs then upgrade to 7.

Yeah I'll probably wait until the first patch to come out or something. Its not good to upgrade immediately. But for sure this will be something I will be doing - upgrade i mean. XP is too old already. Its due for a change and Windows 7 is the answer. Vista was a joke.

I've been using Win7 for month now. Even during the early beta stages, it's been the best OS I have ever used.
I was a huge Ubuntu fan before I started using Win7, but I have to admit, Microsoft has really turned things around.
    IMO..

You should most defiantly upgrade to Windows 7, its the best operating system i have used. It even beats XP which is saying something!

Definitely upgrade. Best operating system microsoft has released. Not many bugs out there and even if there is, Microsoft are fixing them. Huge boost in performance and stability. Worth the upgrade!

Yea, upgrading is definitely the best bet vs. Vista. I'm using the RC until i can fork out the cash for a new copy.

I had a very bad experience with Vista & had to downgrade both my PC & laptop. Ain't no way I'd use anything but XP.

I will upgrade to windows 7, but not now. I'd heard about some incompatibility issues like antivirus application.

I upgraded begin in the RC which is about 3 months ago and I have to say, it's the best so far.
If you're running vista right now, UPGRADE. Faster and great improvements on the visual view.
If you're running XP, keep it, XP will always be the fastest.

@paukaya: I'm using AVG, no problems at all. The only problem is that I get a BSOD if I've my Line6 studio GX driver installed....

Just trying win 7 will not harm you instead u'll get some experience of working on it. It is faster that any windows OS till date coz it runs very less processes in the background so speed and processing capabilities are increased and the boot time is vary less as compared to Win XP.
