I was recently approached by a blog aggregator to syndicate content from one of my blogs on their site. They're new and smaller than my one blog now, but from what I see, they will grow fast and possibly own the niche in the blogging arena in a year. They could own the keyword at the top of the hierarchy for the niche or at least top 10. Questions is, should I accept? here are my fears: 1. Google duplicate content spank: They would duplicate my content but link back to me. I'm hoping that link back will save me from Google spanking me for duplicates. 2. They may start owning some of my keywords in SERPS, even though they link to me and they are the duplicate. But if they get the bigger traffic over time... The above two combined could water down my rankings in the SERPS which drives 65% of my traffic. The benefits of going along with it: 1. More traffic 2. My affiliate links convey Any other thoughs/things to think about?
1. Google will consider the first indexed one as unique content and the rest as duplicate. 2. Yes. they may become as a competitor to you so my suggestion is big NO
