To remove low CTR ads or not?

    Greetings,
I try to optimize my ad positions and general strategy. At the moment i have some great performing ads, but i also have some wierd performing ads.

For example i have a 728x90 ad (usually shows image ads) that is near the top of the content place and it is viewable without the need of scrolling. The problem is that this ad even though i has the most impressions it generates the least profit. What should i do with it? Just remove it and replace it with some affiliates or something?

    Thanks in advance

Basically rather than going for CTR , CPM is better way to analyse performance.

Remove low CPM ads and keep the higher ones.

It's rather impossible to certain extent on trying to control which ads get to appear. However, there are different ways which you could actually play around in order to increase your earning by specifically targeting which keywords advertisers are willing to pay more and then create content based on that keyword. Use adwords external tool to help you on that. Hope that helps.
