It would help to know the scenario in more detail, your relationship with the account holder and your reasoning but in principle I see no issue with it (from a UK law perspective and my limited knowledge)

The consideration of cause is that if your account holder failed to give you the money you would still be bound to fullfil your contract with the payer as they will have done their side of the bargin by paying the sum requested into the account requested and recovery actions would have to be made between you and the account holder.

If you wish someone else to receive payments on your behalf that's a matter for you and them - no-one else. Make sure this person is trustworth and have all the details agreed on in writing beforehand just in case it does go wrong.

I can tell you that its not illegal. It is technically against paypal's terms though, so be careful.

Again, pick someone who you can trust and make sure that you have a good arraignment with them. You will also have to factor in extra fees for the handler into your bids and prices.

Its legal, you can never go to jail for that. If you trust the guy, do it.

yeah i agree..but i sometimes do it because i owe some money to my friends..ofcourse trusted ones..so when i do a job here and the money goes into their account...its settled..

otherwise its not recommended...even though its not illegal...
