I want to put my google adsense on my site homepage,however I worry that it will effect my site rank on google.

Well, as the poster above suggested it won't affect your ranking or pagerank etc. But, I tend to put fewer ads units on the home page of my sites than inside pages for better user experience and link worthiness. Then again, it's something that I like and maybe some wont like it.
yeah i understand . like idk if im making a smart move placing Site-Wide ads on my site.. well if works for me but idk my members.. I think it lowers your conversion rate or CTR.. because maybe they wouldnt be intrested if all they see is ads.
