:confused:I have a person that has funding for an educational deal. He is really pressuring me into becoming a partner in the deal and doing all the development for him. I also have a small business I started up last month doing freelance development. I just would like opinions on weather I should go in on the deal or just offer services to his new found business through my freelance business. Anyone else been here before?

Does the business sound profitable? Do you think the business will succeed? Keep in mind that almost all internet businesses fail. It would be a shame to put in a ton of work only for it to die a couple of months down the road and recieve only a portion of what you would have made had you just contracted.

Sounds like he wants you to do all the website and search engine work. He would not pay you so he save smoney and if it fails he is only out the investment he made not the cost to build site or promote it.

if you think it is a good idea go for it other wise bill him to build site.

I would just freelance the work for him at a discount. Tell him you'll give him a xx% discount if he makes you an xx% partner. Its kind-of a win-win situation.
