i did a little reading on "too much SEO". supposedly too much SEO is socially defined as so much SEO that the site majorly caters to search crawlers rather than a regular user, and a regular user has a hard time getting around the site. always keep a user in mind when designing the site, even when it comes to SEO.
You shouldn't focus on quantity as much as you should on quality. A few quality SEO techniques with a small amount of backlinks on just a few sites will help you much more than just spamming everything or just focusing on how much you can do, instead of what to do to rank your site.
I don't understand your question. Do you mean "too much of seo". If you do, that sounds interesting. Just rephrase what you really wanna ask and add details about it.
I think it is good to optimize website by keeping quality in mind. Quantity is not important than quality.
This is just my own personal opinion based on observation: too much SEO occurs when too much emphasis is placed on quantity over quality that as a result the kind of SEO work done is a spammy bulk of nonsense. I am not going to point fingers, but you can look at this forum and see a lot of thread being started by such faintly disguised sloppiness.
If you ask me, I think he is pointing towards on-site SEO techniques because you can't draw a clear line between balanced offpage SEO and too much off-page SEO because this would give a chance to other people to ruin our businesses and sites. I am pretty sure Google understands the risk of negative SEO if they start basing sites SEO on off-page part. Offpage SEO could become a factor if for example : An average site having no good quality content and onpage seo and probably too much spun content as well and no history of good links (blog comments or other good and valid sources), if they are getting crappy links from day 1 and suddenly on day 52 there's a huge blast of thousands of more such crappy links then it's a clear sign what's happening. No good onpage SEO neither offpage SEO. If you need to stay away from Google's slap then either one of that has to be right.
Well i am don't bother about too much SEO because i am believe in white hat SEO and doing regularly SEO 10-12 hrs/day, it doesn't effect our site because we go with white hat SEO. So, do white hat SEO, you don't get any difficulties in it.
Did you mean Too Much SEO is over doing of SEO in client site? For me, too much SEO is not effective in certain site because it will turn as an spamming method that ruin the site. Instead of ranking the site, it will down the site.
If it quite possible to over optimize your blog, forum or website and get penalized but just make your SEO look natural. Keep backlinks consistent and stay active on social networks and you should be fine.
too much of bad quality SEO is bad for website. Google and other search engines punish the website and blacklist them for crawling. QUALITY matters.....not quantity....!!!
