To increase your revenue on your sites, do you go through your ads and ban the bad 1s

Very true. My list is pretty full! I wonder if they'll work out how many people have the same sites blocked as another way of finding MFA sites.. probably

 

I think a few of us had suggested that to them in the past...aggregate all the filters and do a sort by occurrences and start looking at the sites that floated to the top.

 

Well I used the bad sites filter list and my revenues went down, only problem is I thought revenues would increase, so I did not measure the down side.....

Removed the filter list and revenues are up 25%

I do remember Google having stated they would show the ads that will likely generate the most revenue (Makes sense for Google and their publishers to do this) on our sites.

This being the case then Google is filtering out the crap paying sites...again from their profit earning end of things they need and should do this...

Perhaps in your case. When I filtered, things went way up. They may say they show highest-paying ads first, but I know that to be not true viz a viz my filtering experiences, so I'm sure there are other criteria for what gets shown first.

 

Yea optimize your site for better ads and find better placement for them for visitors to click on them.
