To Host or Not To Host?

    I want to Host some apps on my site..well its going to be a site dedicated to free, legal apps.

    I think the bandwidth is good enough as it is a dedicated server and what not but I'd like to know of some alternatives..

    Are there any quality free online storage sites that I could host all my files from? That are decent....If not free relatively cheap?

    Are they open source apps that you've created? If so you may want to consider something like sourceforge. You could also use a website like rapidshare or megaupload to distribute your files for download.

    sourceforge is the best if ur script/app is opensource they even give mirrors

    In my opinion it's always better to host on your server.
