    And I will include them.
I only accept ebooks that are whole, free (notice free), not giving out any free advertising.
I may set it up one day to accept advertising, but not right now.

Tools and resources to the page today.
    Have more to add.
And if anyone has a free tool, resource, ebook for free, let me know and I will include.
If you have a good article on adsense, send it to me.
If approved, will create a new page for it.
To go to the tools and resources page, the link is at the very bottom.

    On another note....
Seeing as how I am considered a senior citizen (grandkids have a different name...lol), I put up this site just a few minutes ago.

I know it isnt yours but you will rank higher and visitors will get more use out of your site if you write your own content. Pre made content tends to be shallow and not rank as well. JMHO

    Dawg,

How about adding some links to forums that have active (and useful) Adsense discussion?

I have like 5 irons in the fire right now!
True, good idea....or not....that would be giving free advertising to forums.
Plans are at some point in time to set up a page for those who want to advertise.

The content is supposed to be, and is, original.
The one who got me the articles got them from the authors to use in this site.

I know original content is great, but I am not a writer.
Working now on getting more original content.
Instead of harping on the content, get me some new original content.

Now working on another site I have that offers free forums...ad free also.
Have a few bugs, but in the whole it is working okay...50 member so far.

Why do you blame John? I found his critiques very competent and straight to the point. Regarding website's design, it is indeed done very poorly.

Is it written that a site has to be done a certain way?
    With certain colors?
    Certain layout?

Content....as I find original content, will add.
Now, the way I learned, was taught, and if you read the forums here, original content does NOT necessarily have to be written by you for your site.
If I can find a content writer who will write content just for my site, that is original content.
    Enough said.

    *clap clap*

original content = not duplicated elsewhere. doesn't matter who writes it.

I am glad someone recognizes what original content is all about.

Minor point here I am having a bit of a disagreement with a good friend via email over this:
Just how many ways can you write a 250-500 word article on say "adsense placement"?
At what point is your article on this subject pretty much like 5-10-100 other people?
Does google consider this to be duplicate content?

good question. i think that as long as you write it your way, it is original. facts can be written in only a limited number of ways, but styles can vary.

a niche i write about has been covered in countless forums and sites but i write it to include personal anecdotes. and my own style of humor. that (should) count as original contents. :)

Google does not like duplicated content.

A nice guru type person says this about all those plr articles being given away and sold all over the net.

    1. Change the title
    2. Add your own comments as first paragraph.
    3. add your own comments as last paragraph.

By adding 25-30% of your own comments, you made duplicated content now original content.

The other way, bit harder, is to do a complete re-write of the article.
Again, putting in the same 25-30% content your own words.
