Hi there, I am just looking for some opinions on something I have been pondering the last week or two. On Dec. 18/07 I launched www.HowManyHits.com as a kind of joke project to see how many hits a website could get without paying a single cent for any advertising. Things are going much better then I expected and we are now just over 31,000 hits. Last week I decided to take my adsense down as it was doing okay, but only about $5-$6 a week and instead decided to auction off 10 ad spots on ebay (4 text spots and 6 banners of various sizes). The auction did fairly well with all but 2 of the 10 slots selling. I set it up to sell each spot for 1 week timeframes and started them at $1, after all the costs of the listings it worked out to about a $10 profit for the week... nothing amazing I know, but it is better then the $5 or $6 from adsense.... so my question is... do you guys know of any programs which I may be able to do even better than $10 per week.
