To foward or not to forward? How it affects SEO & Google PR

    Umm, My above post, I use & I have been with godaddy for over a year. I'm not sure where you heard that placing a .htaccess 301 redirect is auto converted to a 302 from. I would like to know though so I will contact godaddy technical support myself & pick at there lead tech's brain.

    The 301 .htaccess has always worked for me.

    Sorry about that. I had read incorrect information (from mulitple sources) concerning godaddy's redirect. I used your .htaccess code and it worked just fine. Here is the result:

    Type of redirect: 301 Moved Permanently
