well, first, congratulations on great work! my q is for all big money makers - to people that making at least 100 bucks a day: what was harder: to reach 10bucks/day from scratch OR to reach 100 from 10? thanks!
Wow, people who earn 100 per day... must have been worked hard to be at that stage... I am still below 10 per day.. ... but will my target is to reach 500 per month within a year...
You think 100 a day is alot. How about this; Taken from the highest ever day thread. Very impressive.
My goal is to make $300/day at least. Right now im close to 6/day. I really hope I can achieve my goal in a year or less. Do you guys think its doable for somebody that does this for a few hours.
I think it takes a lot of building and offering fresh content daily. Not just a bunch of copied and pasted material from other sites... although I'm SURE those people make a ton of money too--- but I've found honesty is the best policy. I'm lucky that this kind of fits what I do, as I have a daily blog and a daily webcomic which keeps things fresh. Ever hear that saying "write what you know" ? It can greatly apply to increasing your adsense profits.
I'm not there yet, but I can say the beginning is the hardest (plus all the exitements). When you have a new site a lot of patience is needed too. It takes time when you're starting from scratch, but you can gradually go up when you keep on working on your site.
To earn over $100/day you need the right information and the right insights. You can do it yourself from scratch, but it is hard. I read some guides online and they worked very well. The first 10 is most difficult. Once you reach that stage you know what to do so all there's left to do is multiply what you were already doing. Copy and paste the model and go for quantum growth.
I'm not quite at $100.00...and today $20.00 is looking tough. Cracking ten was hard. Essentially you have to experiment with placement and blanding options on the Ad sense. But my biggest breakthrough was realizing that one a person was at my site I needed to offer them more than the front page content. So I did and the page views went up and with them the opportunity for visitors to click an ad. When a visitor is finished with your content, ideally, their best next move should be to click an ad to go to something else. If you can set that up you'll see 10% plus CTRs which are very, very helpful on the way to $100.00. Then it is a matter of traffic. Building traffic is tough. You need to work at it everyday and you need to be honest and open with your traffic trades. If someone send you a ton of traffic say thanks...buying them a virtual beer with PayPal is always nice. Good luck!
I think it is the same. Getting from 1 to 10 is as hard as getting 10 to 100. The process will still be the same (getting more traffic, pages, backlinks, higher PR etc...) so you can't really say that a specific part is hard.
After getting past $10, it was pratically smoth sailing from there. During the first month with adsense I was experimenting to see how it worked but it took about 2 months before I saw money flowing in.
Anybody starting with a site that has a medium amount of traffic can make $10/day. It only took me 2 months starting with brand new sites to reach $10/day. It only took another month to shoot from $10/day to $50/day. Now I'm pretty much stuck there because I'm putting all my time into affiliate sites (diversifying).
My goal is 300/day, stuck at ~10.00 right now, but that should go up as I tinker. Once tinkering is done I should be @ 20-30, then I need to work on offpage for a while, never ending cyle until I reach the 300/day, but seeing as how I signed up for adsense with 1 brand new domain less than 3 weeks ago I cannot complain.
