I have been a very happy credit card customer with MBNA up until last week that is. Since last week an automated machine has been calling my mobile non-stop; sometimes over FIVE times a day!! It's even woke me up. But what makes it worse is that when i answer there is nobody there, just silence. Then they hang up. (If i am correct, this is illegal in the UK). Needless to say, my image of MBNA has been tarnished considerably, and i'm not the only one. Check the net. Anyway, i decided to call their customer service dept just now. They explained they had sold my mobile number to a third party, but couldnt explain why the calls were silent. For everybodies info the number calling me is : 0800 3890043 SO BE AWARE AND DON'T ANSWER. Infact lets get our own back and call the above mentioned number as much as possible. Its only an automated voice message, but if everybody calls as much as possible we will at least cost them thousands (seen as they are paying for the call)!! OR alternatively cancel all your cards with the suckers!!!!!!! FROM A VERY DISSGRUNTLED MBNA CUSTOMER .......pass it on.......
